WE ARE
CGR, Canadian Global Response is a volunteer-based registered charity dedicated to giving relief and building a better future to those who are refugees, forcibly displaced, living in poverty or have been victims of a natural disaster.
MISSION &
HISTORY.
Our mission is to enhance the global community by demonstrating love in action in times of crisis, acting justly in humility, and sharing blessings with the destitute, the poor, and the needy.
Canadian Global Response is a registered charity for disaster relief, community development, and alleviation of poverty. It is an autonomous organization, governed by a Board, and by itself has minimal staff. It is largely volunteer-based to maximize the use of resources for the benefit of the poor and needy of our global community. The organization adheres to and trains others in the Sphere project initiative. CGR abides by the humanitarian charter and minimum standards in humanitarian response, with the belief that people have the right to life with dignity.

Since 2011, we have addressed many challenges and have worked diligently around the world in an effort to help communities rebuild themselves in a sustainable and needs-oriented way when disaster strikes.
We use a holistic approach to relief and development programs in alleviating poverty by enabling individuals and communities to achieve a dignified, sustainable, and reproducible solution to their needs.
