‘Kits for Kids’ Supplies Arrive in Syria!

SYRIA - Remember when you helped us pack +100 “Kits for Kids” a couple months back? Thanks for sharing in our joy—here’s a few pictures of our partners in Syria receiving and distributing some packages. Over 5 million children are in need of help in Syria, including over 1 million children who have sought refuge in neighbouring countries.

When we flew out of Montreal airport in August, Elia (the Customer Relations agent on duty) waved the fees for our two extra pieces of luggage, due to the nature of our work and that the contents were designated for Syrian refugees. The kits have been delivered to Syrian refugees in Jordan, and inside Syria itself. Many thanks for helping us, Air Canada!

Thank you for your generosity in partnering with CGR in making a difference in the Middle East. Crucial donations for the relief effort are coming from our Middle East Crisis and Global Hunger Fund, which will be highlighted on World Hunger Sunday, October 12th. For as little as $3 Canadian each month, a child can receive health & medical supplies, or for $15 each month education can be given.
